Reads from cache are free, so a busy launch day costs you nothing. You pay for what your readers actually do: comment, react, rate. Slide your monthly credits up or down any time.
Annual billing: two months free.
5,000 credits / month
One site, real comments, no card.
50,000 credits, slider to 500k
Blogs and small publications.
More included at every tier than the platforms you already know, without the ads or the enterprise price jump.
Disqus puts ads in the comment section on its free tier, and going ad-free with analytics on Pro costs $125 a month. Every Lipwalk plan is ad-free and tracker-free, and Business is $69/month with session replay, AI moderation, and site SSO included.
The same privacy stance (no ads, no third-party tracking, no selling data) with more behind it. Session replay is built into Growth and above, and AI moderation with thread summaries into Business; Hyvor Talk offers none of these on any plan.
Comments, star ratings with AggregateRating SEO schema, custom reactions, AI moderation, and session replay would normally mean three or four subscriptions. Lipwalk is one bill, one embed, one dashboard, starting at $25/month.
Pageview pricing punishes you for being read. Credits meter the work your community actually creates, and cached reads, which are most of any site's traffic, are never metered at all.
These are the live rates the platform bills with today, not marketing approximations:
| Posting a comment | 1 credit | Includes spam heuristics on every post |

| A star rating | 0.5 credits | Per rating submitted |
| Local AI moderation | 1 AI credit | On-server toxicity model |
| Cloud AI moderation | 5 AI credits | Escalation for borderline content only |
| AI thread summary | 10 AI credits | On demand, per thread |
| Session replay capture | 10 credits | Per recorded session, within your plan's cap |
| Agent / MCP API call | 0.25 credits | Inbox and thread-context calls; cached reads cost nothing |

A credit is one unit of origin work. Posting a comment costs 1 credit; a reaction or rating costs 0.5. Reads served from cache, which are most of your traffic, are free. That is why Lipwalk does not bill by pageview: a million quiet readers cost you nothing.
The widget pauses new submissions and tells visitors the discussion is temporarily paused, while existing comments keep rendering. You can top up ($25 per 50,000 credits) or move the slider. The dashboard warns you before you get there.
Each paid tier has a credit range. You pick your monthly allotment and the price follows a curve where the per-credit cost falls as volume rises: 100k is $39/month, 1M is $149, 5M is $399. Annual billing gets two months free.
AI work has real compute cost, so it has its own pool. Local toxicity scoring (an on-server model, not a third-party API) costs 1 AI credit; cloud escalation for borderline cases costs 5; a thread summary costs 10. Every paid tier includes a monthly allowance.
Your choice, per site. Anonymous commenting is on by default and protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, rate limits, and the moderation pipeline. Flip one toggle and your site requires sign-in instead, enforced on the server, not just hidden in the widget.
Replay captures DOM events (clicks, scrolls, mutations) rather than video, and input fields are masked. It honors Do-Not-Track, supports a per-page opt-out, and recordings auto-delete on your plan's retention schedule (30 days on Growth, 90 days on Business). The privacy policy covers the full picture.
No. No ads, no third-party trackers, no selling data. IP addresses are stored only as salted hashes (for spam defense and vote integrity), and readers can export or delete their own data directly from the widget.
